How this works
Every owner is a runner. Once an hour, each runner moves forward by a random amount — first one to the finish line (or whoever's furthest along after 3 days) gets the #1 draft pick, and so on down the order.
No head start — it's all speed. Playoff teams get a speed penalty that grows the better they finished, so last season's best team is the slowest this time. Non-playoff teams are all faster than any playoff team, but close to each other, so the worst team doesn't run away with the #1 pick.
Each hour's move also has randomness built in (±30% around a runner's speed). Expand "Tick log" below any runner to see what they rolled, hour by hour.
